Good evening. Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Seems like it is going pretty fast and I am so excited about that.

Have you checked out my video for "Harmony" yet? "Harmony" is a song with lyrics and vocals by Stephanie Jeannot and music by Paul Garrod.

Together we collaborated on an idea and created this song that I am hoping you will take the chance to both listen to a watch the video we put together.

This Week

Good evening.

Hoping that 2015 has treated you with much love and kindness thus far. Today is a little bit of a sad day as I remember the events that took place just five years ago in the land where my family comes from known as Haiti. It was just five years ago when an earthquake destroyed the land and many lives in Haiti and today on the fifth anniversary, we remember and continue to ask you to pray and hope for Haiti.

On a much lighter note,  there is much music to be shared and I would like to invite you out to two events this week.

Every Tuesday night, CLM Entertainment presents Live music with the Swagga Band from 8PM to 10PM at Melba's Restaurant located at 300 W 114th Street in Harlem, NY.
This Tuesday, January 13, 2015, I will be the featured vocalist and hope that you  might stop by and enjoy the best of southern cooking as well as some old and new pop, R&B, soul and funk classics, rocked by a kicking band.

On Thursday, January 15, 2015, I would like to invite you to check out Jazz night at the Smoke BBQ Pit located at 129-21 Merrick Blvd in Queens, NY where the Stephanie Jeannot trio featuring Rachiim Asar-Sahu on bass, Danny Dalileo on keys and myself on vocals will host a night of music, fun and dedication.

We will be celebrating the birthday of the late Dr Martin Luther King JR with vocal jazz in hopes to give that respectable man, a tribute worthy of him. Jazz night will commence at 7:30PM and the music will play until 10:30PM.

Both events are free of charge. I appreciate you taking the time to read my post and look forward to connecting with you on the live tip. God willingly, see you soon.

Until then, Peace!!!

Hey Mon!

It's evident. We all are a little bit like Hey Mon from "In Living Color" because we wear many hats and have many responsibilities. But I've learned that the most important hat we could wear is  Child of God.

We are all live and in living color when we take the forest like a lion or lioness. But even kings and queens receive their strength from God. Without that hat, the smallest sling could knock us off solid ground. Without God, our hats mean nothing at all. But hey mon!

With that being said, I would like to invite you into my world. I am a singer/songwriter/performing artist from Brooklyn, NY and I'd like to let you know I have music and videos on-line. Please check me out and like or follow if you are willing. Here are some of my links:

First Flashback Friday of 2015 - "Heaven Only Knows"

Happy new year to you and to yours. I hope that 2015 will be filled with many, many, many blessings.

We have arrived to our first flashback Friday of this new stretch of 365 days and it makes me think back to ten years ago. That was the year my cool grandfather passed away.

Everything in this world prompts a song to be written when it comes to my emotions. And so in response to his passing, I took off writing lyrics, a melody, and a track using Cakewalk Sonar; and the completed song was entitled "Heaven Only Knows."

My grandfather was my godfather which made it a special bond because that made my mom my god-sister which is an amazing blessing.

One thing that I learned to understand is that once you lose someone you love, time with them is no more, except for in memory. Blessings to all departed souls and to their families.

All lyrics and music by Stephanie Jeannot. I am not much of an engineer however, so the song is still in its original and rough format.

Please check out my song, "Heaven Only Knows" that was originally written in dedication to my departed grandfather back in 2005 that I would also like to dedicated to our former Governor Mario Cuomo who passed away on the 1st day of 2015. May he be in peace, eternally.
