Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day weekend!

I realize it is the weekend and if you are like me, then you are probably getting ready to celebrate your supportive and beautiful mother (if you have not started celebrating her already) who like no other, has been there giving you the best of her that she possibly could give. I imagine myself being like her trying to put my foot into Sunday dinner like she does, but nobody can cook like my mom and so, I'm going to try my best.

So what are your plans?  I hope that you celebrate and experience much joy together in the midst of the weekend and perhaps, you might feel the urge to tune in to my radio show Jazz on the JNote this Sunday, May 8th, 2016 at 7:30PM on WNYE 91.5 FM,  which will be attributed to the mothers. So listen while you are relaxing on your Sunday evening, eating dinner with your family, or whatever it is that you will be doing at that time, If you are by a radio, tune in. If you are in your car, tune in. If you have a smart phone or device,

Or maybe after the long and drawn out mother's day service at church, you decide all you want to do is come home and relax and you decide to celebrate mother's day on a different day.
No worries!

If you are in New York or in the surrounding area and are looking for something special to do with your mother, maybe you can save it for Tuesday night May 10, 2016, when I will join the stage with Danny Dalelio for our duet performance of piano and vocal jazz at Stop Time in Brooklyn, NY from 9:30PM to Midnight. It is a nice and cozy space with friendly, and beautiful staff and right there in the heart of Brooklyn, which is always in my opinion,
a great place to be.

Or maybe you want to save it for the weekend, which would be great too because on Saturday, May 14th, 2016, I will be performing live with my band JNote at Moda Grill from 7:30PM to 11PM and you are more than welcome to come and experience live R&B, pop, funk and soul of past and present times mixed in with some of my originals which I look forward to sharing. Stop by if you can. I mean, what better reason for you come to Queens
than to celebrate the Queen of your life.

Wherever and whenever or whatever you decide to do to celebrate your mother's, I hope that we can somehow spend some time celebrating together. Perhaps I'll see you and I look forward to it!

Have an enjoyable and wonderful Mother's Day!
