Have you ever wished that you had a time machine to be wherever you wanted to be in the blink of an eye?
No more 80-mile drives to a far distant place just to get
into the things that your heart says yes to but your energy says, maybe another
time. Instead, you could just climb into a contraption, press a few buttons,
and boom, you are there.
You wouldn’t have to rely on airlines and hope that their
staff doesn’t all get sick that day. You do not have to sit in rush hour
traffic hoping that whatever mess is before you on the journey home will clear
up. No more wishing to go back in time to revisit a person or to relive a
moment. You could just climb into the time machine and Bam.
That is what I was thinking about when I wrote the song “Time
Machine.” After a long work week, I want to be like the road runner and zoom
home in a flash. I wish I had a “Time Machine” to be where I want to be and to do what
I want to do when I want to do it.
