Showing My Gratitude

One of the reasons I get up early in the morning with a genuine smile on my face is because of you. 

I feel the most at peace when I am dabbling into my purpose because it feels good doing the things that I do that make me come alive. Today I want to stop to focus on the positive aspects of my artistic grind.

Your support is worth all the love in the world and I am grateful for you being kind and lovely. You taking the time to veer your attention my way feels magical; almost as if I am a queen and that's more than royal in my opinion. 

Thank you for being my peaceful idyll. I appreciate you. I feed off your light. You keep my belief in my works and talent in motion. You are a treasure to me and I appreciate you 100-fold. Thank you.

New projects coming soon and I can't wait to share them with you in the near future. But for now, I am constantly updating my YouTube channel and adding more and more videos. I will admit, I have been digging the shorts and reels thing and been adding more and more of them lately. Happy Thanksgiving

“The key to thankfulness is not to view God through

the lens of our circumstances, but to view our circumstances

I can escape into God’s presence thankful for all the spiritually engaging people that have contributed to the joys of my life that make me smile a little wider.

You all push me into new paradigms of thinking. You have accepted me with your arms, open wide and uplifted my spirit in so many ways.

Thank you for all the joyous musical moments you have shared with me.  And thank you for all the times that you were a witness to my strengths in action.

When I weigh my mountains on a scale, it is glaringly obvious that you all encourage my mind and help me to chip away at my doubts and fears. You all help me to experience a deep sense of calm and that peaceful feeling is awesome.

I know I can depend on God because he brought you into my life and filled it with love. I now recognize the importance of acknowledging the deep knowing that you play a huge role in my life.

When I sachet my hips back and forth while I am on the stage singing with a smile of humor and frankness even when sometimes, it is with an empty fuel tank of energy, it is because you all push me into a level of self-acceptance. You help me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You leave the amazing impression on me that there is still hope. You are like the kisses that were worth waiting for that give me a tranquil outlook on life. You all are a staple in my life and I thank you so much for being a part of my world.

As I spend the day experiencing joy with my family and celebrating Thanksgiving Day, I hope that you all have good, deep moments in your day. Safe travels to all those moving around to get to their point of celebration. I pray that love fills your day and that the volcano brewing inside bursts into electric joy and blessings. 

Whatever it is that you do, that it may be meaningful and generate for you a smile. That peace of minds may be yours for the taking and the keeping. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Happy Thanksgiving

This year seems to be traveling at the speed of sound and incredibly, I still can't get over nature's song and dance.

It feels almost as if it were yesterday when I woke up from a second of sleeping wedged into a back of a truck with the metal of my own car before me looking as if it had been cut open by a can opener. But I survived it and am so blessed to be able to say that I am still here because God kept me. Yet, there is no denying all the wonderful blessings God has provided and I am very grateful.

I subscribe to a blog which delivers articles to my email on a daily basis and I came across a gratitude challenge.  The challenge was to write down three things daily in which we are thankful for and by the end of the year, we should have about a 1000 things on our list.

I had been with writer's block for a while unable to express myself in song. But come across a gratitude challenge and the words unraveled like a petal of a rose in the springtime. The words were down, and then shortly after, the melody and music; a song of thanksgiving inspired by the thankfulness challenge that I came across and thought was very appropriate as we are coming upon Thanksgiving Day.  And here we are,  giving thanks to God,  He is definitely worthy of it. Check it out if you'd like https://soundcloud.com/stephanay-jnote/thankful-rough-mix.
