Love Is In The Air

Here we are at the time of season when those that cling together become even more interwoven in romance.

It is a time to celebrate the relationship that has somehow survived and flourished in harmony; successfully and is still going strong. And when Valentine’s Day makes its annual appearance, a cacophony of opinions on how those who are celebrating together, should celebrate together. I have seen so many lists of recommendations on gifts and what to do on the actual holiday. And some of them were truly attention gripping I must say.

Perhaps you are just that lucky so and so that has met your match and that individual plays a song that only your heart can hear; and the song continues to bloom within. Or maybe you have found someone who has such inimitable style that you are convinced that he or she is your true match. Or maybe it is like having heaven at your fingertips when you are around that special someone that makes you know that it is truly love. Whatever it is that provokes that warm feeling of passion, it is worth celebrating.

Love is hard to find, so if you found it, love the one you are with like only you can, and make
it meaningful. Sparkle together. Enjoy each other. Show each other that you truly love each other. Make sure you share your time and your life with each other and keep igniting that flame so that it never dwindles if you feel as if it is meant to be.

Make it charming! Make it enchanting! Make it sophisticated! And remember Valentine’s Day is just a day, but if that is your true match than that special someone in your life is your everyday valentine, so make every day count.

    Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me of Ella Fitzgerald. I realize that several recording artists have their own version and you sing it well - very, very well. Love that song! Thanks for sharing your beautiful voice!

    I love that song too! I'm going to have to treat myself to something this year. I haven't done anything special on Valentine's since my husband passed away. I have gotten the kids chocolates, but I want to treat me!

    We don't do much if anything for each other for Valentine's Day any more. my youngest exchanges cards with his friends, which is fun.

    I love Ella Fitzgerald! You do a beautiful job with this song, as always. My hubby and I usually avoid the crowds on Valentine's Day. We prefer to cook a meal together and share it in.

    Hmm, I am not really sure if I have heard of Ella Fitzgerald before, the name sounds familiar though. You did a fabulous job with this song!

      She was noted as the mother of song back in the jazz era days. One of the most notable besides Billie Holiday.

    There is nothing like true love and if you found it you will indeed know. This is a great song and there is nothing I listening to a great love song on Valentine's day with that special someone. Thanks for sharing the song and thoughts.

    I think I am lucky - I have found someone who I enjoy being around and I look forward to being with the rest of my life. Music is so wonderful and can remind us of the one we love.

    I think when you find that special someone, then every day becomes Valentine's Day. Your heart is always light, and all the colors seem so much brighter. That's what love is like!

    That song is great! I am the kind of person that needs music daily, I love all kinds. For Valentines day my husband and I keep things simple with dinner out. Seeing a concert is a fun way to celebrate too!

    True love is hard to find. Once you do you got to hold on to it, but showing them you love them every day and not just one day out of the year.

    Oh I love it! I am also a musician [Jazz Singer] and even your blog post, using musical terms and integrating that with the holiday of Valentine's Day coming up this month - beautiful! But, listening to the youtube "My Funny Valentine..." Oh, I love it. The texture of the voice, the expression.. and hitting the notes! Do you know how few people can do that? The song is beautiful enough to continue to listen to it over and over this evening and into the holiday :)
